Young at Art Camps

Young at Art is back for a second summer. Young at Art is offering 4 different specialty camps to provide your child with a great opportunity to develop their own creativity as well as learn fundamental art and life skills. These specialty camps are designed for all the budding artists who like to think outside the box, draw their own lines, and make unique and impressive pieces of art. Young at Art creates high quality, arts and crafts projects using a variety of different mediums, techniques and styles while expanding your child’s creative skills and nurturing their imagination. For these specialty camps, Young at Art uses different combinations of drawing, painting, crafting, jewelry making, scrapbooking, woodworking and leather crafting, at age appropriate levels, to inspire the young artists. Our small camp groups enable campers to receive individualized attention in a warm, family-like atmosphere that encourages individual creativity. Throughout the week, your young artist will produce a variety of amazing pieces of art, but before they take them home, they will get an opportunity to showcase them at a mini art show! Come join us and let your child be Young at Art.

At Young at Art ...

  • We believe early art experiences teach kids how to express themselves, develop a sense of innovation, be more tolerant of others’ differences, gives them the courage to take risks and promotes individuality.
  • We believe that when kids are encouraged to make their own decisions and choices during the process of creating art these skills spill over into many other aspects of their life.
  • We believe that in art there are no mistakes, just opportunities for unexpected creativity.

Kassi Lowenstein has extensive experience in, and a passion for, arts and crafts. For the past four summers, Kassi served as the Art Director at the Levis JCC Camp in Boca Raton. Prior to that, Kassi established and designed the Art Department at Camp Ruach, also in Boca Raton. While living in L.A. and raising her four young artists, she started and ran her own Arts and Crafts Camp for five summers. With a lot of camp age children at home, she understands the importance of quality handmade projects. Her goal is to develop fine art projects and awesome crafts that campers have fun making, take pride in creating, which the parents are thrilled to display (and not find some excuse to throw away).
