Join us for our first ever Camp Shalom’s Tikvah Chugim Camp! Chugim is Hebrew for “clubs.” During this week Camp Tikvah will have a morning of theatre and an afternoon of traditional camp activities. These are special Chugims created with our special needs camper’s in mind.

*Campers from the Palm Beach Gardens area will be bussed to and from the Ross JCC each day.  Bus departs JCC North at 8:30am and will arrive back at JCC North at 4:30pm. ETC creates options for personal growth by exploring all the learning opportunities theatre has to offer. ETC will give campers the opportunity for self-expression and creativity through performance! Each day campers will learn easy and fun exercises through techniques such as improvisations, movement, and music. This program enhances verbal skills, improves movement, builds self-confidence, and advances socialization while stimulating free thinking. The end of the week will culminate with a performance starring the Tikvah Chugim campers. Afternoon Chugim Traditional Wish you had one more week of Camp Shalom…the Traditional Chugim will give you just that! This chugim will feature everything you love about Camp Shalom. Be ready for anything from arts & crafts, to Jacob’s Park, to cooking, to swimming and everything in between. (Campers will need a swim suit, towel, and sunscreen each day)
