Kochavim Does EKC!

Pack your bags, because Kochavim is traveling to Emma Kaufmann Camp! EKC, the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh’s resident overnight camp, is situated in the beautiful hills and forests along Cheat Lake near Morgantown, West Virginia, providing opportunities for a myriad of adventures, sports and recreational activities on land and water. EKC is a vibrant community bustling with activity as hundreds of children ages 8-16 enjoy the 200-acre wooded campus 60 miles south of Pittsburgh. EKC is more than its beautiful site, countless activities, great staff and innovative programming. At EKC, campers make lifelong friends and experience the powerful bonds of community. Founded in 1908, making it one of the oldest Jewish overnight camps in the United States, EKC is infused with rich traditions.
During our time at EKC, Kochavim
campers will participate in:
• Lake activities including water skiing, canoeing, knee boarding, tubing, kayaking, “The Rave” water trampoline, “The Blob” water catapult and “The Saturn” water toy
• Low and high ropes courses, climbing walls and tower and vertical obstacle course
• English and Western horseback riding
• Swimming in the brand new Aquatics Center, Aquatics Center also has slides, diving boards and water bucket features.
• Sports such as softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, rugby and cricket, archery, tennis and golf
• Mountain biking and BMX biking
• Ceramics and arts & crafts
• And MUCH more!
